Q
What happens if I am denied workers' compensation benefits?

A

If you are denied workers’ compensation benefits, you have the right to file a claim with the workers’ compensation court. Your workers’ compensation claim is then decided by a workers’ compensation judge. The judge has the authority to award worker' compensation benefits.  In addition, the judge may award penalties and attorney’s fees if the judge finds that your benefits were unjustly denied.
